🌍 Today is #WorldEnvironmentDay!

OLVEA has been a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact since 2015 and actively commits to sustainable development and to offering its clients sustainably-sourced products while preserving the future.

OLVEA strives to bring positive value on a daily basis both through social actions and through the reduction of our productions’ environmental impacts. For example:

♻️ 100% of the by-products generated in our plants in France are reused to produce green energy,
🛢️ 78% of our sales are made in bulk, allowing us to reduce packaging as well as our carbon footprint,
💡 96% of our eco-refining plant’s electricity needs come from renewable energies (purchased from green sources or produced by the installation of 1,300m² solar panels on the roof).

The set up of our eco-refining plant in France, OLVEA Green Technologies, also allows us to avoid the use of more than 400 trucks, thus reducing transportation by 230 000 km per year!
