With over 90 years of experience and know-how in the oils and fat industry, we source and select vegetable oils and specialty ingredients that suit our clients’ applications.

All our raw materials come from supply chains carefully selected for the quality of their sanitary safety standards and production processes. They also are closely monitored to ensure compliance with the ISO 9001 standard and HACCP methods.

OLVEA Vegetable Oils produces and commercializes a wide range of vegetable oils and butters which can be:

  • Organic farming product, certified by Ecocert according to the European Organic Regulation(EC) 834/2007;
  • COSMOS Certified by Cosmécert (100% organic product);
  • COSMOS Approved by Cosmécert (natural raw material, 100% PPAI – Physically Processed Agro-Ingredient);
  • Fair trade, certified according to Fair for Life standard (Ecocert).

OLVEA’s vegetable oils which are processed and refined in our eco-refinery OLVEA Green Technologies, have obtained the Kosher certification. This certification, delivered by the Orthodox Union guarantees that the products and their production comply with all the requirements of kashrut (the laws of kosher food).

Certifications management

When receiving our vegetable oils, we do our own physicochemical tests to confirm that the oils match our purchasing requirements. A monitoring plan for contaminants has also been set up with COFRAC-certified labs to ensure the compliance with the current European regulations.

Our quality policy revolves around 4 main themes:
