Marocavie - Medical caravan 2020

In January 2020, Marocavie financed a medical caravan in the province of Tiznit, a remote areas located 140 km from Agadir, in the heart of the Anti-Atlas mountains.

23 doctors and health professionals were enlisted to carry out specialised consultations (general medicine, ophthalmology, cardiology, paediatrics, analysis, gynaecology) and to deliver medicines.

In total, more than 290 people, among whom 38.5% of women and 9.8% of children, benefited from essential health services (such as clinical exams and screenings), as well medical prescriptions.

Thanks to Marocavie‘s medical campaigns, 5,500 people from mountainous and isolated regions have benefited from health services since 2013.
