Today is International Literacy Day!
In 2022, thanks to the support of OLVEA’s Philanthropic Fund, two literacy centers have been opened in the rural villages of Ouessa and Zambo (Burkina Faso). This operation marks the beginning of a 3-year educational cycle, during which learners will benefit from training in reading, writing and arithmetic.

In partnership with our historical client L’Oréal and with the support of the insurance company AXA and Hystra (B4IG), we have set up an inclusive micro-insurance project “Insurance Net for Smallholders” (INES) within our TrueShea™ supply chain in Burkina Faso (West Africa) since 2021.

On the occasion of World Shea Day, our shea butter production unit OLVEA Burkina Faso and the farmers’ organization RPBHC organized a shea tree planting day in the Djuié region, near Bobo Dioulasso.
