As part of a major philanthropic initiative, OLVEA Foundation, through its association MarocaVie, and Nuxe jointly launched a breast cancer screening campaign in rural areas of Morocco last year.
In October, a team of nurses and healthcare professionals traveled to the commune of Taroudant to examine women and identify potential cases of breast cancer. Nearly 650 women were able to benefit from these essential medical screenings.
On October 13, more than 270 women with breast cancer risk factors received ultrasounds performed by specialized doctors. Among them, 23 were identified as high-risk and were able to undergo mammograms for a more precise diagnosis.
Through this screening campaign, OLVEA Foundation and Nuxe are helping to reduce healthcare access disparities and improve breast cancer prevention.
