OLVEA publishes OLVEAct Now, its first corporate social responsibility performance report. The OLVEAct Now report lists all of the Group’s CSR actions, initiatives and commitments, linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the United Nations, of which OLVEA has been a Global Compact signatory since 2015.

OLVEA’s Philanthropic Fund financed a new literacy campaign in Burkina Faso, in the Dissihn region, from March to July 2020. Since 2013, thanks to OLVEA’s Philanthropic Fund, more than 800 people have been able to benefit from these campaigns and thus, to learn to read, write and count.
With the support of the OLVEA Group, its Philanthropic Fund financed the creation and implementation of marine debris containers, installed on Fécamp’s dike. These containers were inaugurated during the World Clean Up Day.

The Sesame seeds have been sown in July and August in Burkina Faso, during the rainy season. The crops are now in full production and will be ready for harvest in October. The plants will be bundled and dried for a few weeks, before the seeds are separated.OLVEA will then transform them into Sesame seed oil in its green plant in Burkina Faso.
In 2019, the development funds related to the fair-trade supply chains of TrueShea™ (Shea butter) and Sesame oil and Avocado oil were able to finance many environmental and social projects.
In order to face the food shortage arising from the Coronavirus pandemic, the charitable organization Marocavie with the support of clients and partners, has organized the distribution of “solidarity baskets”.
